About
My primary research areas are Middle English and early modern literature (14th-17th centuries), especially drama, and gift-exchange theory. I am also interested in rhetoric, 20th-century drama, literature of the American Midwest, various periods of historical theology, and digital humanities. I'm currently planning a thesis examining ideas of the Eucharist as gift in early English drama.
I have also done work in editing, tutoring, writing center administration, public relations, journalism, and ministry. I see myself as a professional humanist, able to adapt to various roles and rhetorical tasks.
